The fifth and sixth graders of Momilani Elementary have started their basketball season. They were very eager to start playing, but they had to learn some rules and skills.
Here are some of the basic rules:
- no stealing
- no three seconds in the lane
- each baket is worth two points.
- Tropic Thunder
- Jabbawakeez
- Stormers
- Irish Ninjas
- Lightning Blades
- Silver Cyclones
(see below for upcoming games) The students also need to keep up their work in order to play.
Here are some upcoming games:
February
- Tuesday Feb. 24: Tropic Thunder vs. Silver Cyclone
- Wednesday Feb. 25: Jabbawokeez vs. Stormers
- Thursday Feb. 26: Irish Ninjas vs. Lightning Blades
- Friday Feb. 27: Tropic Thunder vs. Lightning Blades
- Monday March 2: Jabbawokeez vs. Irish Ninjas
- Tuesday March 3: Stormers vs. Silver Cyclones
- Wednesday March 4: Tropic Thunder vs. Stormers
- Thursday March 5: Jabbawakeez vs. Stormers
- March 6&9: Make-up Day
- March 10-12&16: Playoff Game

All of these images and video clips are very exciting. It makes me want to sign up for basketball. Maybe I will sign up for basketball next year. Anyways the clips and pictures you put up on the blog are amazing. It looks very realistic. I feel like I am at the basketball game. To conclude, those pictures were amazing. It makes me want to play basketball someday.

I think that everyone should play basketball because it is so much fun because you get to verse other teams and you don't know what team your going to be on and it is interesting to watch and it's fun to cheer for your classmates teammates and the person your cheering for.

Dear Fith Grade Teachers,
I am on the Silver Cyclones and so far basketball is really fun. It's great and fun when you practice after school to gain some new moves and it is also even better when you get to go out during recess to get some action in a game. I think it is really great that we have this extra activity to enjoy.

I like watching the Basketball games they're so interesting but it sucks when you have to leave and the games are still going on. Thats why it's sometimes cool to be score keeper that way you don't have to wait for everybody to come back then ask.
