To challenge the students, Mrs. Oshiro will only provide the colors red, blue, and yellow paint for students to start with. Students will then need to blend the colors to create the secondary and tertiary colors. Once all the colors are created students will work independently in creating their own form of a color wheel. Stay tuned for the pictures of the color wheels....
Students will also attend an exciting field trip to the Honolulu Art Academy to further learn about the use of colors.
Here are some pictures of our brilliant students creating their colors:

Dear 5th grade teachers,
It was really cool to finally do art!! I've been waiting to do this subject all year!
I thought it was cool to be able to work with paints and see how colors are made and how they can mix together.
I'm glad we could do it, even though I got paint on my face!:)

Dear Momilani's whole fifth grade.
I think that the color wheel was cool and was very fun because I did not paint in so long. It just feels so messy and you get to do whatever with it.

I really enjoyed doing the color wheel! I know what I am going to do for the color wheel, but I dislike when people copy my ideas and copy my unusual hobbies, so I wont mension what I will do.
