On Wednesday March 18, the fifth graders of Momilani Elementary had their Grandparents Day.
First, the fifth graders ate lunch with their grandparents, took pictures for some cards that the students specially made for their grandparents. After that, there was a slide show, dedicated to the grandparents. When the slide show was over, the fifth graders had a special dance that they performed for their grandparents and relatives. Some of them were so touched by the song, "I believe," that some relatives started to tear up.
All of the grandparents were so impressed at the student's talents. Many relatives were so proud of their children.
To conclude, it was a very special and precious day, that nobody will forget!

Dear 5th Grade Teachers,
I had an AWESOME time at grandparents day! My mom and little sister loved the performance
as much as I did. I loved dancing to the song. I thought the hip-hop part was cool. My grandma couldn't come because her flight moved to the day instead of at night. It's okay I'll tell her all about it when she comes back. One last thing aunty Carol did an awesome job on the decorations.

Dear 5th grade teachers,
I really enjoyed Grandparents Day it was fun because we invited our Grandparents and other relatives to eat with us and we don't do that on an daily basis. Also they came to watch us sing and dance for them. By the way I loved the song I Believe you showed us unbelievable dance moves and it just all worked out.
